There is a menu of activities that we will be able to pull on to make your trip such as:
The day will start with a morning session in the sea. A bit of a wake up but also generally with a training point thrown in. Which may just be practicing beach starts!
Yes this is a photo of one of your beaches.
Then a 20-30km cycle out to a cove, looking to get some miles in the legs.
The bike ride will be to a beach; where your support car will be with your swim kit. We will have tow floats. Then the aim is to get some (appropriate) distance covered in the sea.
This photo was taken at one of those beaches.
Then again 20-30km back home. Distance will vary depending on the destinations to the cove (and café stop on the way home)
So about 50+km per day, 250km per week, but this will vary depending on demand, we can do long rides home?!
There is a 3km board-walk around the town as well as some quite roads and woodland.
You don't have to but you know you should.
The sunsets about 9pm but the sunsets are generally stunning.
This will help take your mind off what is under the dark water as you will be looking at the amazing sunset.
Looking after your body and keeping it fit means stretching.
Mara will be able to educate you on swim / bike / run stretches to help avoid injury and use your full potential.
In the hotel pool we can do 1-2-1 swim video analysis.
This is a photo of me at the Best Centre pool in Colonia (with Paul Newsome in the water).
Book in on the Olympic Triathlon or Open water week and you could have Paul Newsome look at your stoke.
Probably the worlds most motivated and best open water swim coach.
